Pop-Up on the Pier

As part of a series of weekends offering different events at The Gravesend Pier, we are excited to be offering a full weekend of activities on the 19th & 20th July.

Saturday 19th July:

11am – 5pm: Red Sails over the Estuary:  An exhibition on the history of the iconic Thames Sailing Barge and its association with the estuary.

2pm: Tim Kenney from the Thames Sailing Barge Trust will be talking about the history of the trust and the work they do to preserve these iconic heritage vessels

3pm – 3:45pm & 4:15 – 5pm Live music from The Funky Fiddler.

 Sunday 29th June:

11am – 5pm: Red Sails over the Estuary:  An exhibition on the history of the iconic Thames Sailing Barge and its association with the estuary.

3pm: Create a decorative boat with wooden base and hand painted, stained-glass sails with artist, Mona Whitton – Pre-bookable workshop - on sale soon

3pm – 3:45pm & 4:15 – 5pm Live music TBC.
