As part of our Summer Surprise programme, our Summer Lunchtime Concerts will be held in the more informal surrounds of our Kent Room. Same hour of relaxing live classical music brought to you by talented, professional musicians but in a more intimate setting.
The Little Symphonic Duo brings together the unique artistry of Chilean
composer and charango player Michel Barros Bessone and Italian
violist and violinist Biancamaria Munzi. This special ensemble
combines the rich, warm sound of the viola with the bright, distinctive
tone of the Andean charango, creating a musical world that connects
different cultures and traditions.
Their repertoire includes classical masterpieces as well as selected
traditional music from around the world. Through this unusual
combination, the duo gives new life to familiar works and explores fresh
expressive possibilities, blending elegance with folk influences. The
result is a vibrant and engaging musical experience, full of virtuosity,
depth, and a truly original sound.
The programme features music by Vivaldi, Bach, Beethoven, Chopin,
Tchaikovsky, Monti, Khachaturian, alongside traditional world music
and more.
