Family Fun at the Fort (part of Gravesham Riverside Festival)  

Join us on Saturday 4th July in the Fort Gardens between 11am - 4pm for lots of free family fun as part of Gravesham Riverside Festival! 

Our free activities include:

Circus Sensible workshops (11am – 4pm) with shows at 11.30am, 1.30pm & 3pm      

‘Penny and the Far Thing’ Show by Lempen Puppet Theatre Company at 11.30am, 12.40pm, 2pm, 3.10pm    

Jamboranja Jamboram with Ed Boxall  (11am – 4pm) with storytelling sessions at 11am, 12.10pm, 1.30pm, 2.20pm, 3.30pm

Tree‑TASTIC/ Wild‑ERFUL WARRIORS shows with Junk Jodie 12.30pm, 2.05pm with craft In between (11am-4pm)

Gaming Van by Tech Zone Ultimate Gaming Party: (11am – 4pm)

Hands on History - Display and interactive demonstrations including Medieval arms and armour, Surgery and medicine: (11am – 4pm)

Poppy Pop’s Bubble House: (11am – 4pm)

Garden Games, including sensory floor tiles: (11am – 4pm)

Mushroom Spoon Character Craft Workshop: (11am – 4pm)

Whispers of the Forest - Nature Print & Botanical Bookmark Craft Workshop: (11am – 4pm)

The Imagination Station! Workshop: (11am – 4pm)

Mickey the Magician (11am – 4pm with breaks)

Walkabout Performers (various times between 11am – 3.45pm) includes Dougie the Baby Dino, Baby Dragon, Stilt Walker, Bubble Performer, Superheroes and more…

Centre Stage Parties will be taking over the bandstand with fun family entertainment:

12pm – 12.30pm Parachute Games

1pm – 1.30pm Mini Party

1.40pm – 2.10pm Free Glitter Tattoos and Relaxed Activities

2.30pm – 3pm Performance- CSTA Singer

We are also pleased to welcome the Rolling Cones Ice Cream Bike and The Bar of Chocolate Pink Van selling Sweet Desserts and hot and cold drinks to the Fort Gardens.

All our activities are FREE, *although there is a small fee for face-painting and festival hair. Times/activities may be subject to change on the day.

All children must be accompanied by an adult on all activities
