Black History Month Gravesham 2026 - The Nigerian Experience
Are you an artist with a story to tell?
Jelosimi Art Centre (JAC), in collaboration with Gravesham Borough Council, invites artists of Africa, Caribbean and diaspora heritage, migration, memory, community, history or contemporary life.
We welcome submissions across: Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Photography, Textile, Mixed Media, Digital Art, Installation, Printmaking, New Media.
We are particularly interested in work that creates a fresh perspective on Nigerian and Black experiences.
We want to hear your story.
